48 hour performance by Santiago Sierra at Lisson Gallery London

Santiago Sierra THE NAMES OF THOSE KILLED IN THE SYRIAN CONFLICT, BETWEEN 15th OF MARCH 2011 AND 31st OF DECEMBER 2016 25 – 27 May 27 Bell Street, London  Santiago Sierra, 68 People paid to block a museum entrance, Museum of Contemporary Art, Pusan, Korea, 2000 © The Artist; Courtesy Lisson Gallery With a duration of eight days, THE NAMES OF THOSE KILLED IN THE SYRIAN CONFLICT, BETWEEN 15th OF MARCH 2011 AND 31st OF DECEMBER 2016, a new performance by Santiago Sierra, will follow an East to West path, beginning at the Centre for Contemporary Art in Tel Aviv, Israel, continuing to Wiener Festwochen in Vienna, Austria and Lisson Gallery in London, and concluding in Buenos Aires during the Performance Biennale BP.17. At Lisson Gallery London, the performance will start on Thursday 25 May 2017 at 2pm and end on Saturday 27 May at 2pm. It will be live-streamed in its entirety, from beginning to end, on the gallery's YouTube channel and the artist’s website.
