Through the Mic, hosted by MURS, continues tomorrow

Last month’s inaugural installment of Through the Mic: LACMA X Hip Hop was incredible. 3MG: MURS, Eligh, and Scarub put on an amazing show, capped off by an exclusive late-night run of Chris Burden'sMetropolis II for concertgoers. The series continues this Thursday with Medusa, Dumbfoundead, and Gizzle. Medusa the Gangsta Goddess is a revelation. Her rap skills are matched by a soulful sound—which you don’t want to miss seeing and hearing live. Dumbfoundead is one of the finest freestylers in the game. The pride of Koreatown, Dumbfoundead has produced some impressive music with the hip hop collectives Project Blowed, Swim Team, Knocksteady, and others. On Thursday, he brings a full band for a set that is guaranteed to be unforgettable. Gizzle (Lady G da Real Deal) is primed to break out as her next mix-tape is about to drop.
