From the Studio of...Swedish Painter, Thomas Edetun "Painting is not dead, it just needs to be reborn again and again." This week's featured artist Thomas Edetun's work combines figurative with the abstract, traditional landscapes with modern ideas, all within a luscious palette of colors. Learn more about his practice here. Places and Spaces Showdown Announcement Rebecca Wilson, director of Saatchi Gallery, London, made her selections for the 30 finalists moving along to final judging for the Spaces and Places Showdown. The winning pieces will be selected by artists, Kirstine Roepstorff and Matthias Weischer.  View the final 30 here.   Sale of the Week Congratulations to artist James Lourie from Bellingham, Washington whose painting "Palmer Lake" sold for $2,400.00 to a collector in New York.  Saatchi Online on Facebook This vibrant portrait, "Blue Blues girl" by Natalia Baykalova did exceptionally well on our Facebook page this week.
