This week, Saatchi Gallery, London shared this piece "untitled #1" by new Saatchi Online artis, Gorka Postigo on their Facebook page. It received over 3,670 LIKES and over 600 SHARES. It was also featured on Saatchi Online's Facebook and recieved an additional 250 LIKES and 45 SHARES, later on selling for $1,900.00.
Saatchi Online currently offers 30 print sizes ranging in size from 8" x 10" to 40" x 60". The aspect ratio, or shape, of the digital image determines the smallest print size for your artwork.
Best practice is to use photo editing software (i.e Picasa, iPhoto, or Photoshop, etc.) to give the digital file the same aspect ratio or shape of the original. If you do not use photo editing software, your digital file will remain at the aspect ratio of the camera that is used to capture the image. If you wish to limit the number of sizes offered, you can use the crop tool.
