Caratteristica primaria della contemporaneità il carattere dell´ "eccesso" che si manifesta attraverso differenti forme: eccesso di velocità, di movimento, di consumo ed omologazione. Tali presupposti celano una dimensione di generale solitudine esistenziale, in cui al "luogo" (come spazio vissuto e personale) si sostituisce il "non-luogo" (spazio non identitario, relazionale e "storico"). È in questa prospettiva che si innestano i lavori di questi due giovani artisti che con linguaggi espressivi e medium differenti si sono interrogati sulle possibilità analitiche ed interpretative di una "cultura" descritta da Bauman come "tutta in movimento, fluida e liquefatta" ed in cui il singolo individuo non rappresenta entità autonoma ed indispensabile, ma è sostanzialmente ciò che è stato definito come "codice sostituibile" ..." The primary characteristic of contemporaneity is the character of '"excess" that manifests itself in different forms: excessive speed, excessive movement, excessive consumption and homologation. These assumptions conceal a dimension of general existential solitude, where the "place" (as personal and lived space) is replaced with the "non-place" (the non-identity, relational and "historical" space) (...) This perspective is where we can place the artworks of these two young artists that, with different mediums and forms of expression, have wondered about the analytical and interpretive possibilities of a "culture" that Bauman described as "completely in movement, fluid and molten" and in which the individual is not an indispensable and autonomous entity, but it is essentially what has been defined as "replaceable code ..."
