Submit Your Work to Your Voices: On Motherhood
	IMOW is now accepting submissions of any media type for our new online exhibition, Your Voices: On Motherhood.  Submissions are accepted online through October 31, 2011, with a prize of $1,000 to the Community Choice winner! Artists, filmmakers, photographers, musicians, writers—IMOW wants to showcase your work in the new online exhibition Your Voices: On Motherhood. Contributions can come in any medium that is currently supported on IMOW.org and work must address a topic related to motherhood. IMOW wants to showcase the experiences, ideas, joys and challenges of a new global generation on this important issue. What are your fears and hopes as you think about whether to become a mother? How is being a ‘good' mother defined in your country or culture? How is mothering now different to your mother or grandmother's generation? The exhibition will represent the diverse voices, experiences, struggles and successes of women worldwide as they relate to motherhood.  We encourage submissions from all global regions. Your Voices: On Motherhood is a precursor to our global motherhood exhibition, which will launch in January 2011. IMOW Receives $100,000 Grant for Global Motherhood Exhibition Thank you, Google!
We are thrilled to announce that IMOW has received a generous $100,000 grant from Google Inc. Charitable Giving Fund of the Tides Foundation in support of our upcoming online exhibition about global motherhood and maternal health! This generous donation puts us over halfway toward our future fundraising goal. Thank you, Google!

	MissRepresentation, directed by Honorary IMOW Board Member Jennifer Siebel Newsom, has been selected by the International Documentary Association (IDA) 2011 DocuWeeks Theatrical Documentary Showcase&mdash. Every fall IDA spotlights the best documentaries of the year with theatrical runs in New York and Los Angeles to qualify the films for consideration for the Academy Awards.
