Young Women Speaking the Economy Update
Exhibition participants meet at the U.S. celebration. Photo by: CB Smith-Dahl | Have you explored Young Women Speaking the Economy yet? Here are just a few ways to check out the exhibition:
We have been busy! We hosted four international exhibition celebrations in the past three months for Young Women Speaking the Economy, which took place infour countries on four continents! At the celebration in Denmark on June 15, exhibition participants from Sudan, the Philippines, and the U.S. were all in attendance. We were thrilled that at the celebration in the Philippines on May 28, Chairperson of the Commission on Higher Education and IMOW Global Council Member Patricia Licuanan was the keynote speaker. And in Sudan on May 5, attendees heard from Sudanese student exhibition participants and guest speaker Dr. Suad Ibrahim Issa, spokeswoman for the Southern Sudan Referendum Commission. Thank you to those who took the Young Women Speaking the Economyexhibition survey! Your feedback is invaluable, and IMOW will donate $500 to Women for Women International’s program to help women survivors of war in Sudan on behalf of those who responded!
