The International Museum of Women is a virtual museum that uses art and multimedia technology as a catalyst for social change.  IMOW is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is always free-of-charge!  Because IMOW has no building, no borders, and no boundaries, it is truly accessible to women worldwide and currently receives 50,000 monthly unique visitors. IMOW provides more than just information and inspiration—it also provides the chance to connect with women’s movements across the globe.
This past year, IMOW engaged an online audience of more than a half-million visitors from 200 countries. Explore our recent exhibitions, which included supporting events in eight countries around the world in the past year:
With your support, IMOW hopes to inspire, educate and connect a global audience of over a million unique visitors in the coming year as we prepare to launch our 2012 exhibition about global motherhood and maternal health.
Did you know that every 90 seconds a woman somewhere in the world dies due to complications from pregnancy or childbirth? With your help, IMOW can spread the word about important issues related to maternal health, share untold stories about motherhood and maternal health, and connect women around the globe.
