NYU Steinhardt's Department of Art and Art Professions Announces Upcoming Open Studios, Info Sessions, and Fall 2010 Events This Fall, join us at the Barney Building in New York City's East Village for open studios, information sessions, exhibitions, visiting artist lectures, and performances. The Barney Building's six-story Beaux Arts structure houses studios, galleries, and performance and lecture spaces, and is located at 34 Stuyvesant Street just East of 3rd Ave at 9th Street. Open Studio Events Free and open to the public. B.F.A. Open Studios Saturday, November 13, 6-10pm Visit all six floors of art installations, performances, screenings, functional art, and music. M.F.A. Open Studios Saturday, November 20, 6-10pm Work by first and second year M.F.A. students and visiting students from Paris/Sorbonne.
