Muse 'til Midnight brings an early 1900s atmosphere to the museum in celebration of Manly Pursuits: The Sporting Images of Thomas Eakins. Taking unique and spinning it on its top hat, Muse 'til Midnight will feature burlesque dancers, stilt walkers, contortionists, a live band, and DJs, as well as a whole slew of other kooky carnivalesque characters. What's more, at the second half of the evening, guests will be led upstairs to our LACMA West Penthouse to experience the spectacular Steampunk Saloon. Fusing the fashion of yesteryear with the technology of tomorrow, this zany rooftop affair will flaunt Steampunk couture, large-scale installations, live performances, interactive gadgets, and a moustache contest.
